Our history

GR.A.N.D. (Green Academy for the New Deal) is an academy created to illustrate the European Commission's European strategies, supporting businesses, banks, and local authorities in a personalized training program to pursue a new sustainable development model, reducing their carbon footprint and making businesses more competitive, with greater medium- to long-term profitability, and facilitating access to European funds.
GR.A.N.D. Academy is a training center specializing in sustainability, the European Green Deal, ESG, and ecological transition, with a vision focused on innovation and European Union policies. We were founded with a clear objective: to develop green and strategic skills for professionals, businesses, and institutions who want to be leaders in the shift toward a more sustainable, resilient, and competitive economy. We operate within the framework of EU strategies, supporting public and private organizations in interpreting and applying European sustainability regulations.
GR.A.N.D. Academy has received the patronage of the European Commission Representation in Italy, a recognition that attests to the initiative's credibility, relevance, and innovation in disseminating and implementing the Green Deal strategies, adopted by the Commission to address climate change and the energy, economic, and social crises.
GR.A.N.D. Academy has also been selected as a partner of the Laudato Si' Higher Education Center for management training at Borgo Laudato Si'. GR.A.N.D. Academy has obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for the design, organization, and delivery of training courses on the European Green Deal and sustainability issues.

Vision

GR.A.N.D. draws its vision and inspiration from Jeremy Rifkin's book "A Global Green New Deal," which outlines the policies Europe must pursue for a more efficient, competitive, equitable, and inclusive economy that can achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Jeremy Rifkin is one of the world's most renowned economists, thanks to his ability to analyze and disseminate social developments driven by technological innovation. He is a consultant to the European Union and has advised numerous heads of state around the world, including Angela Merkel. He chairs the Foundation on Economic Trends
